Our Story

Somewhere between making art and getting lost in it, Kalamay began.

In 2015, I started a Facebook page to share and sell my handmade art and crafts under the name Kalamay — a word that literally means getting lost in art in my language.

In 2026, I’m opening that creative world a little wider with this website.

And this time, I’m not doing it alone.

My cousin Purva is joining me as a creative partner in this journey, while my cousin Renuka and sister-in-law Urvi are part of the wonderful support system behind Kalamay.

Together, we bring our ideas, creativity, and love for art to a space rooted in Contemporary Heritage — bringing the things we inherit into the way we create and see the world today.

Welcome to Kalamay — a place to get lost in art. ✨
